Yup, you read it correctly. The series To-LOVE-Ru - Trouble - written by HASEMI Saki and drawn by YABUKI Kentaro is ending in the next issue of Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha) on August 31st. Whether this will be like Mx0 is up in the air...

Shame that it's ending so fast. You'd think we would have a couple chapters yet but I hope they can tie it up nicely.. I hope the author manages to get another series going some time.

God damn it. Not another rush ending. Is it that they don't give the authors enough of a heads up or do the authors just have problems trying to end a series well? Hope this isn't the beginning of another wave of cancellations.

TLR went on much too long than it should have. If they weren't trying to milk it, it could have been a half-decent 5-6 volumes series.
Good riddance it's gone.

well, I would agree upon the "it's about time opinion", since this was simply an extended version of love hina mixed with Mx0 - plot! (although I wouldn't go as far as saying "good riddance" since it was pretty fun to read in any case) I mean I can understand them canceling this one, but Mx0! that was and will always be to much of a shocker to me! It actually had a plot! a great one at that! and they simply rushed it off in 1-3 chapters! anyways, to-love-ru was nice (as a manga) and it was fun while it lasted, but another ecchi manga will soon rise and all of us will forget about it just like we forgot about the past 100+ ecchi/comedy mangas that were also cancelled.

It was hardly sudden. TLR had been at the bottom of the WSJ table of contents for ages - and that's a bad sign for any series.
Apparently, according to 2ch, it was cancelled a little earlier than normal because of a breach of contract by the writer?
Anyway, this isn't really like Mx0. It wasn't particularly sudden to those who had been following something besides the plot (if it has one  ) itself.

I think I'll be happy as long as each character gets properly addressed with where they are going from here. Or at least important ones.

I'm glad that it's over. In all the 160+ chapters so far it's never had any actual plot development so it really baffled me to see this outlast Mx0. Goodbye and good riddance to another dull fanservice manga.

Well if it had a little better storyline(i mean 161 chapters of fanservice,and without romance factor-did they even kissed or something without it being an accident).My opinion is that MX0 was way better and with a real storyline,it would be great if there was a sequel

i kinda agree that it is too long but i think they should have given more time to end the series. i wish more authors planned to end series instead of trying to make 50+ volume epic series that get canceled at before v20. on a related (but slightly off-topic) note how does one peice keep going without approaching a conclusion. both naruto and bleach are long but their plot gets slightly closer and closer to the ending as time goes on.

i hope the ending will have more pages then the usual number of page on the chapter and with color. "i hope" anyway i believe the "rush" ending is going be dull anyway you look at it becasue it rush and all. please prove me wrong.
