Here we got another fun little poll, this time by our member aznluck. If you have no clue what this is about, go read Death Note. It's a pretty good series

For those who vote when the series is complete I guess they either read already completed series and one-shots because some series can take 10 years or more before completion!!
I did pride myself not to get fooled on April 1st online or offline until I download the last episode of Soul Eater last year

Destoy it of course. Sorry, but I don't plan on going to hell (which is part of the deal with one) just because I was a little wuss who had to use a death note to get payback on somebody; secondly, I don't want it used against me; so bye bye death note.

I voted "destroy it" too.....but I didn't know about the going to hell thing. Except of course as the obvious consequence of murder, in certain moralities.....
I don't really have anyone I want to kill, and I don't think people should have that kind of power. Power corrupts and all that.

I picked "destroy it." I don't want to be caught killing off anybody. And I know for a fact I would end up being caught. That's just my luck, haha.

I would probably kill off every known politician in the world and every death row inmate to see what would happen. I would have all the prisoners die on the same second of heart attack and all the politicians die of seizures an hour later. I do not care if the politicians are good or bad I would want to see what comes out of the chaos.

because that is the day where many group tend to make jokes by faking release. Many groups do it every year, and to discern whats true release or not is quite a problem. I hate those days...
btw... if i get my hand on death note i will surely use it... there's so many people i would like to kill... >

Most of the manga I like seem to stop at about ten volumes or less. So, that'd be about six years. But yeah, it's not like I wait around for a specific manga to be finished... which is another reason why I like reading completed series. I'm not exactly patient enough to wait for the next chapter to come out and I wouldn't be able to stand it if the manga got cancelled / went on hiatus / turned crap part way through.
Besides which most of the Manga I've read I found out about when the anime version came out, which means that the manga was around half finished anyway. Personally I'd revise your ten years or more to three years at most. Not that I've ever actually waited for a manga series to be completed.
