haha, we won't win the cup. actually, I hope we don't, since so few people care about soccer/football in the US--not enough people would notice that we even won for there to be any real excitement about it... I just feel that that would be boring somehow. And then there would be so many fans who really love their teams from other countries (since it is like the #1 sport everywhere else) who would be heartbroken. I'm glad our team is in it and doing quite well, so maybe some more Americans will become interested in it, but somehow I feel it wouldn't be fair if we won (which is highly unlikely anyway).

Oh well, football match is one, that you cannot even predict which team will win, so I'll vote for the one that I wanted to win. I'm not watching the match and I got no TV in my room.. I'm chinese and of indonesian nationality, but those two countries are not in the vote list. So since now I'm living in Germany, I'll vote for Germany....

It's nice to see that before the Germany played they were on 6-7% and now they are on almost 15%. Let's see how it will turn out after the game today. And i guess Argentina will get a boost in the poll now as well seeing as they flattened South-Korea with 4:1.
And Spain, France and Italy are going down!

I think we should have this poll again in the next round...and the round after that, and the round after that, and the round after that...

And Germany too, evidently. "How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle!" and all that.

That doesn't mean they are out yet; they still have very good chances and have come back from that to play very well! <3
