There is a website that no longer gets updated at http://www.abhota.info/end5.htm that gathered all the doomsday predictions they could find, there were dozens each year, and no doubt many more they never heard of - considering historically most of them pretty much disappear when they turn out to be rubbish.

2012 is not even the end of the mayan calendar cycle. seems they miscalculated the calendar when they corresponded it with our calendar... and they slipped 50-100 years.  hah.
