You do know that they really don't have to warn you, right? The only reason they are doing it is to give you a chance to stop. When they see it's not working they will start sending suing letters out instead and that's when it's going to be really fun in the scanlation community. wooooooooooot

Hypocrite:
1 : a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion.
2 : a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings.
I'm sure that PRO never did anything like selling the soul to mangafox like RHS. I'm sure that PRO hates mangafox. I'm sure PRO respect Muda for their actions. So where be your hypocrite?

at the end of the day i can't get too upset that Viz is putting its foot down. People on this site often forget that scanlations are illegal. Yes, it sucks that it's going to get harder to read our favorite manga, but from a business standpoint Viz is doing what it should've done a long time ago.
but i don't think this will be the end of scanlations. i think groups are just going to have to be more covert about it.

Because they OWN the license to distribute it. Basically, a group is really in the wrong for continuing on a licensed series......they would have to be licensed for distribution of it. Publishers are BUSINESSES, not charity organizations.

I imagine they'll contact the servers and ISPs first before that happens. It will likely come to this though since MangaFox and the other scumbags pretty much aren't going to stop for anything less if at all. People will not wait a year or more for a censored/butchered tankobon of a series when they know they can get the latest fully translated uncensored chapter in a month, a week and sometimes even a day of release in Japan.
