I'm a girl and have read several yuri, yaoi and hentai mangas. I figured it wouldn't hurt to check out the genres but I didn't like them so, I don't read them now.

I'm a girl and I read yaoi, yuri, hentai, shotacon, lolicon, guro, etc. etc. on and on. I stomach pretty much everything. Though I don't read all of it regularly, I like it nonetheless. There's really nothing I 'can't stand'. Though I'm not all that fond of futas... and soft-core can go get eaten by a dinosaur, for all I care.

I'm a yaoi girl. I might view some other stuff, but it's seldom. The most I can last with any explicit showing is a good twenty minutes. After that I get nauseous for whatever reason. That doesn't keep me from reading more though. Admittedly I'm more of a text person for this kind of thing.

I'm a girl and I read yaoi, yuri and hentai. Mostly yaoi though - I like things with plots/interesting stories, and it's hard to find that with yuri and hentai. D: I need some pro recommendations. Also, there's so much shoujo ai that's incorrectly labelled as yuri. Annoying to sift through. ><
What I don't read: bara. It's...just not my thing. orz

I'm a girl, read hentai and yaoi.
Now I prefer hentai, especially if it's vanilla or have a good plot.
I can't stomach guro and not really interested in yuri

I'm a female, but I do like reading hentai-ish stuff, epscially if they have a PLOT. I do prefer vanilla, especially the shoujou doujishins. I can't stand those other ones with too much details, especially those boobs that goes all the way to the floor  . I don't really read yaoi either, tried, but for some reason, I can't stomach it. I have read yuri, but it got boring.

I am a female and read... all of the above. Not so much yuri though, have never found one that suites my tastes.

Wow is there that much females reading Hentai?
or is that this pole biased because people vising already more likely to be Hentai reading females?
by the way I'm curious; do all females do this when reading Sengoku Basara?
well the poll isn't that precise but i understand the difficulties of setting it up
its not a professional statical survey 
but yeah there is that much small percentage of guys reading Yaoi
myself I've read a couple but thats all yuri too I've read more than yaoi more even if its targeted to males I don't find it that much attractive more than vanilla
lately I've been into traps and yes I find traps more exciting than normal Vanilla
but I still like your overage Busty girls and some lollis

Basically I read the ones where there are guys having sex. I'm not interested if it's just girls having sex, since I like guys. But I get bored with smut & yaoi sometimes because so many of them have too much corny stuff and neither plot nor explicit sexy scenes.

I don't read Sengoku Basara, but in my case, pr0n is almost always for masturbating.
Are there surprisingly a lot of hentai-reading girls here? I heard that many straight women tend to be quite open to talk about sex. Or maybe we just want to make people aware that there are straight women who like straight pr0n!

but long ago I've read a deep article about the similarities between Slash and yaoi fan-base.
yeah the females like males need a story centered around the character of opposite sex . so if a story was balanced in such a way that makes us see the both "partners" (if its not an orgy)
then it would "satisfy" both male and female readers

i completely agree with this. Does josei with a bit of h count as hentai, like how crazy are we talking about here, like full on seeing everything or just like under the covers type stuff?
