 I read onani master Kurosawa and liked it the main character in it is an asshole in the beginning but changes because of the romance. I wanted to read a similar manga like that,so basically in the romance genre. smile

 I second the Princess Tutu anime, it's a perfect match.

Kanata Kara - cold turns to caring.

A Night of a Thousand Dreams - girly boy though. =w=;

Dokuhime - the girl is generally the protagonist, and she changes the male leads.

Waraenai Riyuu - it's so adorable how much he likes her.

after he meets... that girl with a scar whose name I can't recall. -_-

Pumpkin Scissors. Let's just say the corporal is quite different before and after he starts working for lieutenant Alice Malvin...

 I guess AKB49 - Renai Kinshi Jourei Fits into that though not much romance yet
Hana to Akuma Very good story. Don't get hung up on the Shoujo tag. It's one heck of a story.
Baby Steps the romance is very slow. it's mostly a sports manga and secondly a romance. If you can be patient and can enjoy a greatly written sports story try this one. Not sure theres much of a personality change though.
Eden no Ori The class's unreliable pervert becomes the most responsible guy and leader.
Vampire Juujikai Great story. Little romance in all honesty but I think the story makes up for it.

for any other types of romances I have all sorts in my lists [no Shounen-ai or Yaoi at all though there may be some Shoujo-ai/Yuri mixed in there]
