I normally don't pick up long-running shonen series, as I'm normally just buy yaoi manga. But I've seen the anime of what Funimation has...or at least the first season. But anyway, I need to know something.
In the anime, Lavi likes to flirt with Allen...or that's what it looks like to me. If I were to read the manga, would I still be able to get the Allen/Lavi pair out of it or not? Yes, I know they're not a couple, but as a yaoi reader, could I read it like that?

I haven't gotten very far into the manga, only like chapter 60 or so, and I don't read yaoi. I never really picked up on anything, however, according to this guy there is definitely something between them, and he/she has screen shots to prove every point made. Maybe you could read what he/she thinks about them in the manga and then decide from there? Sorry I couldn't give a definite answer.

Repeat after me: THERE IS NO SHOUNEN AI, BL, OR YAOI HERE. People like to pair characters up and look for BL situations. If you wanted to find them, you would. I've read every chapter and have seen the anime. As both an avid fan and a yaoi reader, I say, if you want yaoi read one of the many dj fanfics.

I know it's a fan pairing. I'm just wondering if it's heavily there or not. You know, if it gives you that feeling that it could happen or not. I'm having a bad time trying to find the words. Should I just stick to the anime and except the randomly flirting I get from Lavi to Allen, or do I get more i the manga...yeah, maybe that's the way to word it.

It`s been a while since I read more than just the latest chapter that comes out every months or so, but from what I can remember there is none of that in the mange or if there is it is so little that I fail to notice it enough that it stands out.

Hn, I've read this manga so many times. There are very little to none BL. However, there are a lot of BL fn-services.

– Alma, Kanda's last lover, is a female who is trapped in a male's body.
– When Tyki "ripped" Allen's arm off and killed him with a "Tease", it looked like he was moslesting a fifteen years old boy... I mean, c'mon... Tease? He used a tool called Tease? Not to mention, Tyki's bersek for, reminded me of tentacle rape... *shiver*
– In vl. 21, Kanda stabbed Allem is a gay's way, and I mean it literally. "Legs between his thighs, and they're both shirtless!" Kudos to her... who found that out first...
– All the males main characters are bishounen...
– The Earl (who is pretty handsome is human form) said, "I want to be by the 14th's side..." I don't know if it's in a family way, but tha sounds too suspicious...
