I'd like to read a manga in which the main character (preferably male) or one of the main characters has bipolar disorder.

Thanks for the suggestion, but what I'm looking for is a character with bipolar disorder, not dissociative identity disorder : )

ooo, that's a tough category. I love psychology and am actually interested in finding some answers myself of how bipolar disorder is portrayed in manga (if it is at all). I searched the Psychological category and found nothing myself
