everyone is TRYING to be a jerk.

people love to use the anonymity of the internet to be the jerks they want to be in everyday life, but are too afraid to do. i love how almost no one here does tho *shoulder pats all around*

I am a jerk in real life too............

Every where I can talk about manga, share manga, see manga, is the paradise on the earth to me! laugh but MU have a very mature and wonderful users, people who actually have interesting minds and taste, both in manga and regular discussions. maybe we can't say MU is the best but it is among the top ten best sites for sure. cool

Ehh? This the best forum? Right...that isn't exactly the case. I mean, it's nice and all, because the community is active, but the narrow layout is a no-no, and the intelligence level of the average user seems to be something of terrible; I have only a noticed a few users (and not one of them me--all I do is complain!) making quality posts, while most of them are in such poor English that even if they do make the occasional good point, the point is lost to the indecipherable nature of the words.

A good forum has a minimalist design, with no Avatars, no pictures in sigs, and a low tolerance for bad posters or posts. Wait--did I just describe Evil Avatar!? Yes, yes, I did.

Maybe you should try some official forum of the Bible. smile

My favorite thing next to the people about this forum is the programming. so minimalist and easy! I think that most people who are used to staring at IPB and Proboards and VBulletin know what I mean.

proboards based forums just suck as a rule. Not even taking the community into consideration. Their layout is just so bad. It's infuriating. What's wrong with IPB forums? They rock. Atleast, I know of one that does.

really? is it how it seems to you?

Not all of us are from USA, England or Canada. it might be possible that some of these facts that you pointed out, are happening because people like me who are not native English speakers, still trying to improve their language ability and communicating ways. However, I doubt it is that hard to understand people's points or their level of intelligence through their posts, even if their flaws in grammar bug you. not to mention it is not very fair to narrow your judgment down to their language skills. just my two cents...

It's funny how you also described Communism, to an extent. biggrin

I've said it before, if you don't like it here, leave. I'm certainly sick of hearing you complain about this website and forum, though.

This is a great forum. The only thing that would make it better is if there was a thread that people who want to make a new thread could go to and ask if their thread already exist. Does that make sense? I think i confused myself. confused

I haven't been here too long but I must admit I'm impressed. Aside from 4chan and 2ch this is one of my favourites.

For manga related information this site/forum is the best. But as a gamer I also visit the sarcasticgamer forum quite a bit. So for manga MU FTW for games SG FTW.
