You know how the characters of Hitman Reborn's name have a number to go with it? I just wanted to know all the characters and their numbers, or a site that can tell me. For example I know that Tsuna is 27.

This one explains it more.

Quote
18: Hibari - shortened to Hiba
1= Hi
8= Ba (sometimes 8 is read as ba or pa. は、ば、ぱ)

OLD counting system:
Hi, fu, mi, yo, itsu, muu, nana, ya, kono to
pronounced: hee, foo, mee, yoh, itsu-oo, moo, nana, yah, koh-noh, toh

I usually don't follow the numbering system or abbreviations. It took me about two months INTO the ten years later arc until I figured out what TYL meant. But I think I am just stupid.

i don't know it well .. sometimes i think, perhaps

xanxus - xan is pronounced as san in japanese, an that "an" seems like "an" of triANgle, so .. 3 ??

squalo - squa = square, first 4. lo = yo = 4 in old japanese numbering system, so second 4 in "44" ?? or square that means 4 but square like 2x2 or 4x4 so we have 44 ??

god, i feel like i'm a fool.

p.s : i'm reading your links right now, thanks for the link bigrazz

Yup, they take the first two syllables of their names and link 'em to a corresponding number that sounds the same. It's confusing at first, but you get used to it if you want a pairing. >D laugh [Why am I confirming something that doesn't need to be confirmed? hehehee...]

I don't know for Japanese, but for us writing in English--fanfics, the pairing, the like--we tend to use the numbers. 1027 (TYL!Tsuna) just because TYL!27, oho. Xanxus and Squalo just become X and S. In any case, most of the pairings are guy on guy, so it's a heck of a thing. XD
