Ahh well... a lot of shoujos are like that. And by a lot, I mean A LOT.
I don't usually read those, since well... most of them turn boring as there's just too many of them, but anyways give Hana yori Dango a try. I didn't really like it, but it certainly was one of the better ones out there.
