This year's 11th issue of Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine is announcing on Friday that Dall-Young Lim and Sung-woo Park will end their Black God (Kurokami) supernatural action manga in three more chapters. The manga has been running in the magazine since 2004, and Square Enix will publish the 19th and final compiled book volume on August 25.

The story revolves around a game programmer named Keita who gets caught in a battle being fought by Kuro. Kuro is a Tera Guardian — a Mototsumitama or a guardian who maintains the Coexistence Equilibrium. Kuro saves Keita's life during the battle and regenerates Keita's arm that Keita loses in the fight. This exchange creates a bond that unites the two in the battles ahead.

Yen Press will publish the 17th volume of the manga in North America in October. The manga inspired the Kurokami The Animation television series in 2009, and Bandai Entertainment released the series in North America between 2009 and 2011. The anime was the first anime to premiere on television in three countries (Japan, South Korea, the United States) within 24 hours of each other.

You clearly haven't been reading Im Dal's work for very long if you don't get what I mean...

I do but the main problem is that he starts series and puts others on hold, I read UxU and I know of the hiatus and I also know Onihime VS was put on hold, same with Aflame Inferno.

I dont think Kurokami was ever put on hold, same with Freezing ... and Lunatic Taker that ended, if I recall he returned to Onihime VS after he finished Lunatic Taker.

So far the only series I think its still on hiatus is Aflame Inferno but I am not even sure of that, as its true he did put some series on hiatus its also true other series were never put ... the only thing I can say he does a LOT of series.

Exactly. He has so many ongoing series happening at the same time, he's throwing some of them on hiatus and it's taking him ages to finish them.
That's why whenever I see news that Im Dal is actually going to finish one of his series, I'm surprised laugh Especially because he's been finishing a few recently. Although usually when he finishes a series, a new one decides to pop along, therefore the never ending cycle continues XD

I almost fell out of my seat when I found out UxU was getting finished. I hope Yen Press will have volume 19 ready to release shortly after 18 is out in January.
