Decent ending, but I wish yuu had gone the proper way and fight on the ring. Instead, he has become the "ghost" thug hunter. At least, he doesn't fight unnecessarily, but still.
All need, a good manga.

Its decent but doesn't really do anything.
The story doesn't go beyond "kid learns to stand up for himself, eventually goes around teaching other kids to do the same" yet stretches it across 100+ chapters. Frankly, I see it as nothing more than an emo version of your typical "weak to strong kid" shounen story (yes I know its supposed to be seinen but I don't get that feel from it).

I liked it, but also wished it had shown kamishiro in a ring. Aside from that I think becoming the ghost fit his personality, and the "full circle" ending was interesting. Only full complaints I have are yagi living, no one visiting shougo, lack of romance, and u beating me to this thread lol.

Kinda agree with that. I guess the seinen part is because of the blood and drama, but it's on the light side for sure. With all the scanlations breaks, it's easy to pick up, but I would not be able to read it front to back in one go, a bit dragged on, repetitive.

I liked the ending but didnt like the arc if it makes any sense, the whole arc felt really pushing it and was really cliched or lame at times. Was a fun overall read though.

Liked the series overall but what a shitty way to end it.

So i just finally stopped beating around the bush i finish reading this manga.
I would like to think that Kamishiro was like Izawa in the end and would sooner or later do what he did after leaving someone (the kid we saw) to be the next generation...
This could be supported due to his scar (i think, hope, that ghost don't have scars) and the fact that Mai was waiting for someone... what doesn't make much sense is what Shin said, but maybe he was just trying to said "I can't believe he preferred to go on a date with Mai" and the expression was there to make people believe he died.
I know there are quite a lot of contradictions with that theory, but i don't think it's too farfetched.
I do agree, with Kaintetsuki in that the final arc felt a bit forced.

maybe he'll get there in time, I mean Mai said that kamishiro was like Izawa (and izawa was the king in town, after kamishiro entered) and then we saw in the end a "ghost" but that kamishiro will graduate from the streets probably the next generation will be that guy because he felt that kind of amusement? or that face of wanting to be like someone.

i like the ending. it basically say - how good you are at fighting, it dont do shit in the real world. that stuff only work when you are a child/teen. that's why it is fine to me, that yuu become just another regular adult.
