Does anyone know any manga that have cool non cowardly main male characters?
No yaoi, shounen-ai, or Yuri. I prefer it be seinen or shounen with a more mature feel.
Example of what I don't want: Reborn!

You can either try the main GTO story... or try its prequel Bad Company and Shonan Junai Gumi...

Hoshi No Samidare Main character is weak at first, but then becomes really powerful in the end.

Samurai Deeper Kyo. The main character is Kyo not Kyoshiro, so don't be discouraged from the first chapters.

Aiki - The main character is hilariously evil and a total badass. Also his facial expressions are priceless!
Berserk - One word, Guts. It doesn't get any more badass than him.
Akumetsu - The protagonist is a vigilante who kills political figures in the name of justice.
Veritas - Gangryong never hesitates to fight even those stronger than him.
Zetman - Jin kicks ass as Zetman and Kouga is pretty cool too.
ID - Id is ridiculously powerful and very confident.
Claymore - Although you said male main, warrior girls with huge swords are awesome too 
Tower of God - A Korean webcomic that's so damn good! Baam proves in the first chapter that he is the furthest thing from a coward.
You can't go wrong with any of these, they are all great!
