i chose the best friend of the main character... at first i want to choose the main protagonist but then i suddenly realize that not all good things happen to the main protagonist.. therefore, i prefer to stand aside them and watch the story go on.. ^^

They didn't give an option for what I want to be. So I choose antagonist. I think it could be interesting and no way are you bogged down my responsibilities and such.
But what I want to be is the main antagonist that later on teams up with the hero and turns into a potential love interest but in no way turns weak and helpless.

Quote Narrator (when not a character in the story)
Usually that kind of character is a pretty bad-ass one, that either know a lot or learned a lot during the history he is narrating. Anyway i like to be the one who watch and judge.

Oh come on guys... isn't it obvious I want to be the evil, evil villain? (It's more interesting ^^)

Protagonist of course! Mostly because in the manga that I read, the main focus is on the protagonist and also because their story is pretty much unwritten. My second option would have been best friend/ love interest, but they usually get put on the back burner in most of the manga I read..

euh... "if your life was a manga", that would always make you the protagonist. I'm just going to assume the question was badly phrased.

I went with love interest. I think it would be cool to have someone interested in me. Although I would definitely be the typical oblivious love interest.

Minor Character!
I'd rather be rarely seen and in the background. =)

Best friend of main character.
Well... I kinda went back and forth between best friend and protagonist but... main reason is most the times I hate the protagonists' personality. And most the times their lives are boring... and cliched. I prefer the best friend role, most the times they end up being my fav chars too.

Indeed what I think. Maybe it should phrased as 'what kind of protagonist/character would you prefer'... Whatever, I choose narrator for this. Maybe something like Touge in Adolf ni Tsugu or the girl in Zekkyou Gakkyuu

Definitely the antagonist!
I mean, why not make it my life's goal to annoy the protagonist to death? I'd love the be the cunning, ruthless and creative opposition. Life isn't fun if you aren't a thorn in someone's side ^_^ Plus if I'm the antagonist, I can kill people without the whole "conscience" thing getting in the way! *Evil laughter*

I don't think I'd ever want to get on your bad side.
Hopefully I wouldn't end up as a character in your manga.

I chose best friend, but in a manga where the best friend has its own story going on... like in shounen I would be Zoro, Tao from Noblesse or Rivaille from Shingeki no Kyojin. Or shoujo I would be Ryu from "Kimi ni Todoke"
Oh crap! I guess that if my life were a manga I would be a guy ... BUT I would be a silent badass cool really good at something guy

When you choose to be the protag, would you also change into a hotheaded guy who can overcome everything by determination and willpower? That would be boring.
And what kind of manga, that is also important, I wouldn't want to be a side character in a horror manga.
And to be honest I doubt I would want my live to be a manga, pretty sure it would be axed in no time at all
