Basically like the protagonist of phantom of inferno meets tiji-kun!s school persona.... or holyland if he had snapped, and snapped a few necks... guess kyou Kara hitman and gantz work, but they both look more normal than weak... and the latter only kills aliens.

Id enjoy a romantic subplot, but its not necessary. Either male or female lead is fine...

Ah just remembered a good one ichi the killers protag just uh... maybe not so fricken crazy o.o

None at all match my request. I don't care if he is "strong" cuz you don't need strength to slit someones throat. Other than that only one asked for a lead willing to kill, and gave no preference to appearance.


Forgive me if I'm wrong, but it appears that the lead just beats people up. I'm looking for an active assassin/murderer.

Special ty to pebble. Denrobates is a perfect example. Blasted 10 heads open in 5 pages, and then goes to work acting like a snivelling coward.

Hmm, not sure how well these would fit what you are looking for...

Kazan has the weak looking character, but he isn't an assassin. He is all badass but it's focused on a personal quest. It was licensed in the USA ages ago and is complete at 7 volumes.

Shi ga Futari o Wakatsu Made has a blind assassin that is underestimated a bit in the beginning due to his blindness, though he doesn't seem weak otherwise. Warning, it is a sequel which doesn't play much of a part but later chapters include a lot of characters who were introduced in the prequel. Around the time of their introduction to the sequel, the plot definitely seems to suffer a lot and it becomes almost senseless fighting. Scanlation isn't finished, but there are a ton of chapters out. 17 volumes so far. (Edit: A previous poster mentioned Jesus which is one of the prequels)

Adekan has the cold blooded murderers and such and would fit the best as not only do the assassin-type main characters seem very weak, so do most of the murderous people that they come across. The only downside you may find in it is that it is extremely BL-ish. Nothing ever happens, but the gay subtext is more like overt screaming. The BL aspect is made to be comedic, which it definitely is, but I can easily see how non-BL fans would find it to be too much. Scanlation team has just finished volume 3 out of the 5 so far.

^kazan looks a bit interesting so I may try it despite my suspicions that the lead will be the standard no-kill protag. Until death do us part, while not exactly fitting, is a great read that I forgot to put on my list. Lead is also notable for being one of the few chars able to maintain a loli relationship without looking like the scum of the earth xD.

As for adekan ill be sure to try it. I'm completly fine with any yaoi setups that don't include a constantly raping seme and a uke who is in fact mindbroken, but generally not spoken of in that way x.x. so long as its not that hypocritical nauseating drivel, and there is frequent killing, ill probably enjoy it greatly.

Pretty much.

No drivel here at all. It is seriously one of the best manga out there in my opinion, though I've heard mixed opinions from other readers. Don't be distracted by the beginning, it looks all lighthearted at first, but halfway through the first chapter it starts getting a bit more serious. The comedy aspect never goes away (actually, I think it gets a little stronger as time passes) but the dark quality of the manga stays strong. Each new chapter has a new and unique murderous aspect to it, it's definitely worth a second glance if the first isn't enough.

Ill check out alyosha after adekan. As for dendro and arachnid they are both good. Dendro is almost perfect, and arachnid had one of the best starts I've ever seen.... tho tbh i feel like its getting worse as it goes. Could really have done without 9 other students having random assassin qualities. Would have been so much cooler if she was more unique and retained that awesome killer instinct she was introduced with.
