Übel Blatt fits perfectly. They're a few rape scenes thrown at u in the beggining but trust me there's only like two and the rest of the manga is beast!!!.

I am sure you already know about Death Note .
I guess people are really bored with generic hero who have the heart of gold and who believes that killing is wrong even if its an enemy......Atleast I am tired of it especially from the kind hearted ones who sprouts non-sense about the Ideal World with Ideal thinking.
