I'm running out of manga to read so please suggest any manga that is romance or shojou. Please don't suggest manga with weak female heroine or female lead who goes gaga over the male lead, I prefer it the other way. Something with a touch of comedy would be really great! but please don't suggest yuri and yaio manga but I don't mind smut and mature.

That's a huge pool to draw from so I'll ask a couple questions that will help narrow things down.

First, what DON'T you want?

Next, a lot of romance/shojo have drama. How much drama do you want? Can you give an example of a romance/shojo that has too much drama for you? Some people prefer really light romances, others like the twists and turns that get a couple to theirGood Ending. <-- see what i did there?

I'm kinda in the same boat right now. I'm looking for some romance series right now that aren't fluffy/sparkly shojo but also don't pile on the drama for the sake of drama.

Romances with strong female leads and some comedic element...

Shoujo:
kare kano
fruits basket

Shounen:
suzuka
karin
video girl ai
midori no hibi (yes, Midori seems rather damp to start with, but she turns out to have quite a spine)


Seinen:
ai-ren rather short on comedy, but very good
Planetes (no, not just a romance, but I Ai is the central character and she has one)
bitter virgin (caution - heavy material)
acony seems to be trending that way, but at current rate of publication, we'll be dead before she's formally hooked up.

Guy likes girl first. no cliche drama (love triangles, jealousy, excess crying)
only cliche is some damsel in distress BUT that only happens cause the girl is strong willed and likes to deal with things herself.
