It would be very interesting if Arima and Suzuka did have thing going on in the US. I wouldn't be surprised. It would also be interesting if sex was involved (a night of drinking with fellow athletes). The storyline of the next chapter would be:

over all I think Yamato is an idiot. he had like what, two other girls that showed interest in him? I understand he has a thing for suzuka but still. at the time he could have been satisfied with a relationship with one of the other when suzuka wasn't around. but I have to say he is a dedicated person when it comes to the person he likes... or is that obsesion?? and suzuka too tight.. I mean... geesh... you could have her make diamonds from coal. she'd be RICH~!

you know how many fans of suzuka would get pissed off right? i could imagine people throwing the manga away with that disappointing ending.

it would disappoint me, but not enough to throw away. just to give a more reason to hate suzuka.

i wonder why the mangaka made all the readers dislike suzuka? it successfully made me hate her through out the entire series.

I know that a lot of fan's would be pissed off (me included) but that sort of scenario is not very far off. This is a chance to make manga take on something mature.

How will Yamato handle the situation if by by some far off chance that Suzuka did it with Arima? She wasn't his girlfriend at that time.

Is this one of the reasons why she was so hesitant to get back together with him?

Is this also a reason why she wants to take it slow with Yamato because she doesn't know how he will react to the situation (that her first was with of all the people in the world, his rival)?

Will Yamato be able to accept Suzuka?

Will the fans continue reading Suzuka if this scenario actually happens?

Now that is drama...all these and more on next chapter of Suzuka! For sure I will stand in the sidelines wondering what will happen next...

I watched the anime and finished the series last two days ago...
I heard that its not finished yet so I decided to read the manga..
Yesterday, I downloaded the manga from chapter 71 to 145...


I'm extremely addicted to this...

Now about Honoka... i dont believe that she has a new BF...
I think she's lying.. or if its true... that relationship might not stay long for
its obvious that she still likes Yamato... At the beach She made a joke that Yamato and herself should go out again... I think its a proff...

I really think that Honoka and Yamato being a couple is much better

Suzuka is just one of those typical manga where the male character is a pathetic nerd and the female is the coolest......

Hahahah about Honoka... I disagree... I think she's finally convinced herself to let him go. It seems like it's been resolved already. Now, there might be some time when she has problems with her new boyfriend and runs back to Yamato for comfort... but she probably really won't ever be in the picture anymore.

Hahahahah... if Suzuka got together with Arima, I think I would curse Suzuka forever. But... maybe I'd definitely still read it to find out what became of the situation

I have to agree with DeLta, I don't think Suzuka has done anything H with anyone- Suzuka isn't the type to make rash choices- it would be way too out of character for her to have anything to do with Arima (or a fling with anyone for that matter). She is probably just very frightened about "going further" with Yamato. Not because of her lack of commitment or love for Yamato, but her fear of being vulnerable to heartbreak- Yamato just needs to chill out- and be patient with her, like she asked him to be back in c136.

I think I would very much enjoy if something like that happened, though. Hahah.. y'know, the transition from middle school to high school, Tsuda Kazuki died in a car crash... and the transition from high school to University... Yamato gets into a car crash... ahhhh what an ironic (and somewhat beautiful, actually) way to end the series... haha

Haha Suzuka and Arima eh? I really don't believe this is in any way possible, unless (like it was mentioned) Arima took advantage of her...and he might be a total jerk and all but i don't think he'd do that. I believe that at some level he has a deep respect for both of them and see Yamato as a worthy rival to watch out for. I think he really wants to compete against Yamato and put his fears to rest.
However if the mangaka threw this kind of curve ball out at us...I'd probly hate the series...but i wouldn't drop it I would just hope that Yamato (being hurt at knowning this) would go to one of the girls and get comfort from them (specially from Yui seems she seemed so willing and able already ) this would balance things out and they could then procced with their twisted relationship hahaha well I think scenarios like this are for the more mature mangas...this type of plot kind of reminded me of Kimi ga Nozomu Eien.

I think suzuka's deal is like everything else, she's just shy and doesn't like to admit her own feelings. Yeah Yamato might've indeed jumped the gun there and there might've been better ways to ask her this, like say first asking her to let him kiss her more often and go out more and such and THEN move on to that. But I think that dealing with Suzuka and her particular personality, these methods are best haha, I mean is it me or does she seem to react more when Yamato gets angry and seems to be fed up...it is then when she's gets weak in the knees and finally admits her feelings (err at least this is what i've seen from past chapters) haha she seems to like rough love no?

hahaha seems cruel but yeah I also agree that Yamato getting into an accident would be the quickest way to break her defenses and make her into a soft and sweet girl, at least toward an injured Yamato lying in the hospital bed. Though no doubt it'd also screw with her mind a bit more haha, on the other hand if he survives it might also finally dissolve all the trauma for Suzuka.

Personally I don't want to see this series end anytime soon, I want to see some college years and i want to see Yamato going to Suzuka's house once again and proposing in front of her family (that chapter was hilarious). But ehh i'll take whatever comes.

I couldn't take that... that would make me hate the series. The author won't do that.

This is a great series... and I hope it never ends. I find myself surprised every chapter, as the author comes up with something new and unique.

As far as how yamato acted in 144.... it just seemed weird that he would just be standing there and start groping her.. i mean wtf.. that would totally break the mood imo.
