Deleting Accidental Posts?

How about a button where users can delete any accidental double posting they did so they don't have to trouble mods or anyone else if they know they made a mistake?
I've seen it at some other forums, so I think it would be nice here too, especially since I always make that very same mistake... sad

Actually, this would be useful for deleting things that you accidentally posted and don't even want on the site.

The answer is still no (at least for now). Nothing new in here to warrant this change that we already said we are not considering.
If you made a mistake and posted stuff you don't want people to read, well other than the obvious double check what you just typed before posting, I can suggest to you to use the edit feature.
You can leave the post with just a:
"Sorry, delete this"
That ought to do the trick.
