How tragically judgemental you are about this. Did some incident related to such merchandise scar you when you were younger confused

I have some stuff, mostly key chains and jewelry. I probably wouldn't wear any anime related clothes though, due to the fact that I'm incredibly cheap. If I'm coughing out 20 bucks for a shirt it better be INDESTRUCTIBLE....or on sale.

I started out with necklaces and key chains but I've started to move on to rings. Look how I wrote that. Does it give the illusion that I have a large collection of items? I wish. I've been wearing the Sky ring from Katekyo Hitman Reborn ring for about 2 years now and It's probably the item I get the most attention out of. Mostly because I have small fingers and the ring is so friggen HUGE. It was hard enough searching around for one that looked good enough so I wear it periodically.

Though this is a huge step from where I was years ago. My younger, square self, would never wear anime gear in public.

Myself speaking, no I wouldn't. I used to when I was younger but now feel disgusted and embarrassed about it. Kinda feel/sense some stigma when I wore anime-related shirts back then, especially living in a country where animation in general usually viewed as kid's material. Plus, it might've made me viewed as weird or abnormal within some sects of the public as well.

But yeah, I don't have a problem wearing anime and manga-related stuff when I'm home chilling out or going to bed, when I'm in a closed, private setting. But out in public, most definitely not.

Never. I'm a closet anime/manga fan. I don't want to wear some shirt with cartoon characters because many people would think I'm immature for watching them since when a LOT of people see anime characters they think things like Pokemon. I already look quite young for my age (24), so I don't need to exacerbate that image. It doesn't really bother me because I don't really have a fashion sense and just wear plain clothes. It's sad that many people in America just assume all or most anime is for kids, as there are many, many know-it-alls. Oh well, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it bigrazz
I would not judge so harshly based on clothing unless they really looked the part or the clothing had ecchi images. I would probably just think their young or simply enjoy anime/manga.

Depends, I guess. I often wear a green Sogeking T-shirt to class, and also a Chopper hat sometimes. However, I don't want to be seen wearing my Death Note T-shirt and a few others if I can help it.

Now that I think about it, the only anime merchandise I wear lately are One Piece related. huh, didn't realize that. Never did think about it. Maybe I should go merchandise hunting sometime later...

There should be an option that states: "Vice-Versa" or something similar.

Copy someone else, B*tch.

Actually, the problem is this. I think the manga/anime is wearing my merchandise, not the other way around. These comic/manga/anime artist designers are people who create ideas based on what their imagination shows them. These imaginations are scoped through everyday information and resources that are collected from around the world. If an artist sees me wearing a crown and draws it for his "popular series" and looks at me and says, "Nice Cosplay," I would literally burn him to shreds.

I fail to understand how a shirt could possibly have a sexual orientation. >.> What, did it decide to go for another shirt as opposed to pants?

To be honest, I don't own a lot of anime merchandise, but I do have some, and so I wear it. That's why I bought it. I mostly dress in a style that's "cute and comfy," so even when it comes to anime apparel, I tend to follow that. I have three Vocaloid shirts, one with chibi Luka, another with chibi Miku, and the last with beautiful original fanart for the song "Servant of Evil." I think they look cute and classy, respectively. I also have a shirt with cute original chibi art from Okami and socks with anime versions of the members of the k-pop group 2PM, which many people have called cute despite not having an interest in Asian culture. I also like charms and cell phone straps and other little things like that because I think they accent my style. I tend to wear a lot of t-shirts (I'm a jeans and t-shirt kinda girl :3) with prints and designs on them that aren't related to anime, too. I really like butterfly and flower motifs. xD So yeah, I kinda just go with what I think looks nice on me. I don't really care how other people dress since it's just their own freedom of expression! =)

I meant gay as in happy. Since I'm sad, I hate looking happy.

So sad...

Like people who can't tell when I'm using a term facetiously.

No. Actually, no.

Strangely enough, however, right-clicking the broken image box, selecting properties, and copying/pasting the image's URL into the URL box of my browser allows me to see the image of a strange woman(?) bridge-pushing her Harry-Caray glasses in an attempt to achieve a mischievous/temptress(?) look, whilst showcasing a ball-cap that was lovingly made in the sweat-shops of a third-world country.

Kudos to you, sir. It does exist. This makes me slightly happy, yet at the same time sad, since Episode II of Xenosaga was such a joke, I have yet to play the third. Maybe I'll get on that... Ugh... but then I'd have to play Episode II again, since I ... repressed it from my memory...

But that's dangerously off-topic.

Right, I forgot I also have a black FMA t-shirt that simply has a small blood-seal on the back, up by the collar. It's neat.

Gundam T-shirt, and that is it. Not like it stands out that much.

I have seen people wearing Dragon Ball Z T-shirts (really flashy ones)
