Not surprising, we all knew it was coming towards the end, but it's sad that it's happening though 
I hope Kishi can do a solid ending, if he does a ending where they all hold hands and everything is all sunshine and rainbows im going to nerdrage.

@tr0p0x for some odd reasons i think some characters in Naruto are going to get paired up or have some chance for it.
Choji - Ino, she has been shown worried about him, maybe something more will happen?
Shikamaru - Temari, i swear this will happen.
Lee - Tenten, she has been shown blushing at him.
Hinata - Neji, might happen because they want to combine the branch family and abolish that curse.
Naruto - Sakura, has been hinted that Sakura likes Naruto, just doesnt know it yet.

well even thou it already seemed like it's gonna end sometime soon, still...that one caught me by surprise & i was like "WHAT ?!!!"

Even though its shounen,I wish that the ending should be more realistic...... I do hope that Masashi doesnt end it with ideal world philosophy or something like that where people are moved by Naruto's speech and they decide to reform and stop the war to make the world a idealistic place full of peace and not of sufferings.

Personally I am hoping Sasuke dies. Other things that would be interesting would be maybe Naruto having an ambiguous death. Something to do with merging with the Juubi. At least everyone in the series who was dead is dead again. I personally think that was full of stupid.

I was worried Naruto would go on for too long and I'd have to buy over 80 volumes or something lol. I feel sorry for the people who buy One Piece.
I could kind of tell that he was planning to end it though. You can tell it was getting near the climax. It will be sad when it ends, of course it will, I'll feel like there's a big empty hole in my heart or something, knowing that there will be no more chapters, but I'm still looking forward to it all the same. It's been enjoyable, reading Naruto. I have a soft spot for it.
I hope he ends it well.

This manga has been my one amazing dose of excitement - one week after another.
I started reading this manga since the year of 2005. And ever since then, I never had the feeling of getting bored from it.
I just hope that the year Masashi Kishimoto decides to end Naruto, that he should already have another series ready for us to read no later than two months after. And not a year later. I can't dream of never reading any other stories from Masashi-sensei.
His art is very unique. Many people have adopted the art style of Bleach (Psyren, etc) and One Piece (Fairy Tail, etc). The only mangaka I have seen that use art work similar to Naruto was the author's twin brother.
And even though it ends, I have a feeling that the anime won't. The anime producers would most likely create an animated movie featuring a new adventure after the end of the manga story. Just so that they'd rake in more money.

I'm sure it'll be a reasonably satisfying ending as he's already got it all planned out. Atleast we know it's getting close to the end. Unlike another series that I'd rather not mentio n where we don't know whether it'll end in ten more chapters or a hundred.

I agree with you in a lot of things, but about Fairy tail it just has the same art style that One pice because Echiro Oda and Mashima hiro worked together as assistants at some point and learned to draw with similar influences.
I really like naruto, had been reading it almost since the start (was one of the first manga that i pick at about the age of 9), and i'm really happy Kishimoto, against all odds, decided not drag the manga until it couldn't go on anymore, giving it a proper ending with a final arc that have been worked on almost since square one is something not common for a manga as long as this one.

Although we all saw this coming, I really thought Bleach would have ended 1st before Naruto. Oh well..... don't know about you guys, but I find Bleach to be slightly more entertaining this past few weeks.

Well, Naruto may or may not end "before" Bleach, but Naruto will probably have more chapters in the end. Both are on their final arc.
