Hello, I'm looking for a story with a strong male lead who has committed a terrible crime, something that can not be repaired. Noticing the horror of what he has done, he takes the resolve to repair it in any posible way. I don't want him to be like "oh i'm such a bad guy, i deserve to die" or if he gets into that mood, then he manages to get over it and uses the weight of his sin for his atonement or something like that.
I'd like the story to show how the character in question grows to form a great sense of right and justice, and be willing to learn and to learn from others. In the end it's much more than just atonement... in other words he becomes an admirable guy (and cool as well!!).
It's not necesary for the match to be exact, but it would be really great if it is ^^
I don't want yaoi, yuri, smut, ecchi, harem, one shots, doujinshi, hentai please, and thanks!

The main character killed not only once, but even accidentally his own brother in law, which causes his sister to break mentally down. Therefore, he had to take care of her and face guilt every day (until she gets killed), while he is been cursed with immortality. To get rid of the curse, he had to slay one thousand vicious men and that's the reason, why he decides to help a girl to take revenge for the death of her family. But - On their way they realize, that every death has it's prize and not every enemy acted without reason.

Takemitsu-Zamurai - This series doesn't necessarily fit with the idea of "resolving to repair a terrible crime," but it does feature a protagonist trying to overcome the demons of his violent past and develop a peaceful role for himself in society.

Both stories look interesting! so I think i'll give them both a try, though is not so much a road for a personal objective, but rather an intent to compensate for the done deeds. However I do like the idea of how the characters grow and all, so thank you so much, that's the most important part ^^!
Oh, i was writting this when Takemitsu samurai showed up. In fact it fits pretty well! when i said the thing about a crime i didnt really meant something particular, but anything that is in some way regretted. Thanks! i'll see how it is.
