I think it would be nice if there was an option that allowed searching (or not searching) of a single section or set of sections in the forum, similar to the genre function in manga search. This would be useful when, for example, you are searching for manga suggestions and you do not want to see topics or posts from the chatter box filling your page with useless results.
There is something like that, though I guess it's not obvious.
Scroll down to the bottom right of the forum page. There's a box that says "Search This Forum" and whatever you type in, will search only within that forum.
