hey everyone...it's been a long time since i read a seinen. the last was wolf guy , i enjoyed it except for some of the chapters if you know what i mean. the other seinen manga that i liked was until death do us part but the plot kinda became repetitive for me... so anyways, i've always thought that the romance in seinen is better than most shoujo and josei, maybe coz of the depth of the story and the art. and i am into action. i was wondering if there are any good seinen mangas with subtle romance in em...would appreciate any recommendations...=)

Saishuu Heiki Kanojo (Really great manga)
Gantz (Romance becomes prominent part in the later half... but it has heavy amount of violence and echi)

In disagreement with strixflash, Saikano took romance as center plot. Without romance, what else hold that weapon from completely destroys humanity? Well, that's that, unless what frika requested is romance as the main theme.

Mushishi has very subtle romance clue. Do take note that that clues aren't visible unless you have strong attraction to soap operas, which enable you to perceive romance even if its only one part of a million. Romance isn't intended genre of this awesome manga anyway. Nor action.

Zetman is action-packed manga, and romance is very apparent at certain volumes. That means, romance isn't subtle at all. And a note, if you're put off by rape scene in wolf guy, there would be a hurdle to overcome in this one.

Omoide Emanon has romance sentiment but not really. And it's not action manga unfortunately.

Dance in the Vampire Bund play romance in recessive manner and action packed It suits your request best.

[m]Hentai Ouji Warawanai Neko[/m] use romance as a mask to get into something else. And this too, isn't action manga.

Kyou Kara Hitman use a pinch of romance. It's there only to confuse your taste bud. But it's packed with PEW PEW! Although a bit oldish.

In term of romance, my opinion would be Josei > Seinen > Shounen > Shoujo. Exception is true on josei which offer only a bit more depth than shoujo, which unfortunately, abundant in number.

Some subtle romance seinen...
Spice and wolf fantasy, really subtle romance - mostly an economics lesson. Ongoing.
Gisele Alain historical, romance is slow but you can tell it's there. Ongoing.
Himegami much more blatantly seinen with ecchi and mix of both history and fantasy. Completed.
