the age old question what is better (in your opinion anyways) what do you like more NTR (Netorare) or Vanilla
i personally like netorare because its more real then vanilla, In real life peoples dreams don't come true and they dont live happily ever after, But hey i guess that's why people most people read manga i mean where in real life are you gonna find a rubber man/pirate

I don't mean to be rude when I say this but from your statement I am getting the feeling that you have probably been NTRed. That or every dream you have ever had has been crushed.
Any way I like Vanilla. NTR just makes me sad and so I prefer vanilla because it makes be happy to see two people having a mutual love for each other.

Well in real life, I don't think the victims would become sex-crazed maniacs after being gang banged or raped repeatedly...
Plus I don't think their loved ones would just stand aside and enjoy being cuckolded (Well most cases anyway)...

I'll read both but I prefer vanilla. The NTR I read really depends on who the person is cheating with. A lot of NTR plots consist of the wife cheating on the husband with some old ugly dude who's a total dick. I avoid those stories at all costs. I mean seriously if you're gonna cheat on your husband and risk divorce at least choose a moderately attractive dude who has something going for him in life.
Now as far as NTR being more realistic than vanilla. Neither one is more realistic. You have good relationships and bad relationships. As far as I'm concerned they both have elements of truth in them.

I like it when romances are realistic, it should have decent problems, and fights are completely acceptable but NTR is not. If someone cheats the relation should be over. or take a really big hit.

some NTR stories are HOT and a major turn-on while most are a turn-off
the same apply to Vanilla
I remember a side-story of Pumpkin scissors manga about a member of Anti-Riot squad
being an NTRist as a hobby while white-knighting its detail like this that makes you like NTR stories as opposed to raging
but raging too is sign that the story is successful because the worst stories are bland ones that don't makes you feel anything

nvm that, im not gonna read some serious story manga with NTR. i stay away from sexual abuse or some 3rd party male characters. i really hate those stuff. male characters should only be comedy characters, main protagonist or those who have no sexual interest on females

I only like one NTR and thats because the husband who got cheated on gets revenge and basically wins in the end. He had to become a monster to do it and basically turned his wife into a dog. It ends with him taking her out for a walk and she howls in front of the guy she cheated with. Its funny in a really messed up way. You have to be able to laugh at twisted things in order to enjoy it.
