Second season of Chihayafuru announced! : D D
I actually didn't think it was possible...as nowadays, feels like shoujo adaptations are hard to come by and GOOD ones (in my opinion)...

The second season for the anime??
Sweat!!!
I agree, It just a genuinely enjoyable anime. It doesn't really feel like a shoujo somethimes. =)
And seeing the beautiful artwork brought to life makes it even better to watch.
Can't Wait!! =)

Which is more better-manga or anime? I just checked the ratings and comments, and decided to give it a try. So can anyone please suggest what will be the best?

Hi, I apologise that this is completely random and sudden, but what is the name of the manga in that picture you posted? Many thanks! confused smile

@strixflash
I think manga is better as it tends to have better art and also a more detailed plot.
But for anime, kimi ni todoke is really good. I also really liked vampire knight, even though I watched the first few episodes only on Internet.
If you're interested in things non-shoujo as well, try bakuman!!! biggrin biggrin biggrin AMAZING manga and anime. Its quite hard to get into as a manga but it's one of those which gets better as the story goes on, and it's completed, and the artwork and story is incredibleeee!!! eyes

@Ganzi1014 Hum, I'm pretty sure strixflash was only asking regarding Chihayafuru.

@strixflash The anime is great visually, but the manga is indeed more detailed plotwise. Personally, I go with the anime because the story is more advanced in comparison to currently available scanlations.

I only gave a glimpse to the manga, but I don't have the sensation I can enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the anime. I think seiyuus are extraordinary in this series. Also it's a series about a game where "hearing" is fundamental so I'd pick anime just for that.
