"Ghost Hunt" By Ono Fuyumi, Inada Shiho. It's more on the supernatural, but the ending is good.

maybe you should try Akuma de Sourou.firstly you will think it has a bad drawing but keep reading it! the mangaka will become better. it's funny and sad at the same time.

I don't know if you mind mature, but it is one of the saddest stories that I have ever read. Deep Love - Ayu no Monogatari.

I haven't read it myself but it is supposed to be good. Bitter Virgin

it's only a one-shot, but I find it very interesting and unique. Dirty Work

it's a 12 volumes story, if you like long stories. Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni Sasagu

hope this will some help. smile

second Vampire Juujikai
definitely tragic but strangely in a really good way, gives both a sad and happy feel

Ah yes, that reminds me. Genre's I DON"T want.

adult/mature,ecchi, yaoi/yuri/shounen ai/shoujo ai,lolicon/shoutacon

Thank you Roughan for the suggestions, I've heard of pretty much all of those ones before and will look more into them!

Please don't keep away from Banana Fish because of people calling it shounen-ai. It's a kick-ass manga worth reading for both males and females!

Ai-Ren is really good.
It is tagged as mature, but has almost no mature content.

And thanks for all the suggestions! They all look really great and it's hard to decide which one to start first!
