I'm looking for a situation where a character nobody expected anything from winds up having an surprising victory, for example in a three against three match the guy who the team thinks as the weakest is paired with the strongest in the other team, as a sacrifice, and this "weak" guy ends up easily (or maybe not so easily) defeating the strongest badass guy.
It can be in anything, a fight, a sport match or a game and i'm ok with it only happening once in the beginning, but it's even better if its later in the manga.
Any type of manga is ok and any demography too... except Yaoi.
edit: If possible no Rushed endings.

ooh.. I know some of those kind of manga, since I love it.
Antimagia
A weak prince gone missing and return...strong
Kurogane
physically weak MC that fails in almost any sport is doing kendo ( i think this is the best match with what you want)
tripiece
especially vol 5 or 6 (i forgot which one)
Suicide island
the art is not pretty, but the character growth is stunning and struck deep
ares
A must read, MC looks weak but see him in action, it's complete too.
Hoshi no samidare
it's quite original, a refreshing read if you are bored of general read.
Not sure but I list it anyway:
+C: Sword and Cornett
The MC does draw a surprise from ppl surrounding him..
Historie
the art is ok, blow you away with the mc's amazingness. the author is a genius
Sword art online
it has anime (the best anime this season) and light novel, the manga is only 4 ch

that's all I could remember now, Id (have to love this, it's in almost every arc) ,ubel blatt, aphorism,dandrobates is also a recommendation, but someone already post that.
though those is more like "look weak" so underestimated and when they get in action, big surprise.

Yeah Ares is a good manga, Kurogane too, but as i said i wasn't looking for a Weak to strong manga and even tough it was similar to what i said (since nobody expected him to have such an amazing vision) Ares is a better fit in what i'm looking for, maybe later on the manga such mistakes will be made on Kurogane, but as of right now he is a talented novice than can't attack (maybe faints but that's it)
Suicide Island doesn't fit either. I want a lead who is really good at something but people who don't know him mistake him for a weakling (bad at the sport/game whatever), but the art is amazing. What do you mean it's not pretty?
Ares and Tripeace both fit.
Anyway keep them coming, sorry but i had read them all, except Antimagia, but i knew about it, i was just waiting for it to be completely scanlated.

Double Arts[a] (some ppl say it was rushed, I don't think so though)

Sakurai was a Tensai and that's it, Eyeshield last arc wasn't that sucky, they couldn't had made them win that or it would had bring a shit storm in usa (but it fits, especially that epic moment when he take off the Eyeshield) and i have no smart comment for Alive but i had read it too.

Anyway, one-shot Bench, I bet you already read Angel Densetsu (even though he looks though he is actually super-weak so I think it would pass your criteria).
Maybe Full Contact, it even has "weak to strong" category.

The problem with Weak to strong is that i took the time of reading each and every manga label like that here xD (I had read Full contact and Mirai Nikki)
Yeah, i read and loved Angel Densetsu (the manga that made me Love Yagi-sensei works), but it kinds of go the other way around (since he is tough looking but it's saint.. who can kick as too if he wants)
I will try reading Bench thanks
edit: Finished Bench, really good, i'm not a baseball fan but i still liked it.
If there is anything more please recommend it.
