So that was it? Just a huge scar running down their front. I always thought it would be something WAY more disgusting with how those men reacted before, like a youma head sticking out of their stomach or something. Oh well at least I know the big secret now.
Good chapter though can't wait till the next one.

Same here from all the previous encounters....I just hope that author focuses more on plot than fights in the future chapters.

I had the same thought but then again it's not a scar, it's always open, just stitched together, i guess that depending on the stitches some guts might be visible, and also it goes all the way down, it should be very uhhh demotivating, it would take some very sick guy to do her like that.
I'm looking forward to the next chapter, will raki take priscilla out as well? how will that sit with clare? maybe they'll make peace somehow for the fight ahead.

Well but the bandits showed face of utter disgust rather than just demotivated, i mean it certainly isnt really pretty but not something that would call forth such emotion. I wouldnt wanna do it but im sure i would may be surprised but not disgusted seeing that their world is full of monsters eating guts and shiz , that gap in their stomach seems kinda small compared to that.

When I saw Clare like that with the stitching, that made me think of the movie"let me in".
hmm so slashing a claymore vertically in the front or cutting her head would kill her much faster instead of cutting leg, limbs, arms like the abyssals seem to be doing.
Now if love could heal external wounds...

Screw you guys, debating of the scars... The main news is that Clare is back! ^__^ It's been two years since we last saw the girl and you argue over the scars??
OK, now that I got that off my chest, here are my thoughts about the scars: Clare's looks rather neat and tidy right now but since they don't heal, I am pretty sure that the stitches grow loose the longer the warrior lives. They probably have to restitch themselves but an average Claymore's body looks like gutted fish, with all the intestines and lungs and shit poking out and bubbling and whatever. Trust me, that is revolting on a physiological level, you can't grow used to it. As for the bandits who wanted to rape Theresa, the cut looks like it goes from the vagina upwards, meaning that you can't really have sex with a Claymore, unless you want to rub your junk against her stitches.

We have not seen anyone else's, yes, but considering how the Organization practically has had a conveyor belt where they rolled from, it's a safe assumption that the surgery is standardized and Clare's scar is sufficiently representative of all warriors of her generation and probably the generation before (Theresa's).

The open wound really freaks me out. Dx
It just seems so... vulnerable. Remove the stitches and you'd have free access to all of a Claymore's vital organs. It's a wonder how they bathe, move around, etc with a deformation like that. I suppose the Organization does a better stitch job than the quick fix they gave Clare, or else it'd be seeping blood and gunk constantly.
Doesn't help that their uniforms have a seam that runs right over the stitches, like some sort of twisted reminder.
Anyways, I'm happy Clare and Raki got to meet again. Not so keen about the fact that Prissy's going to spoil their reunification all too soon...
