I liked how she seemed like a good girl to everyone but actually was mean under her pretty face. Now, I'm not looking for an MC that only wants to do evil since I'd like you to recommend me a shoujo where the female lead is really nice to everyone in her class when she's really annoyed by everyone's attitude. If I confused you: A female lead who looks and acts nice and cute when she's really like Kawai in Akuma to love song. Thank you very much! P.S: Bonus points if a guy finds out about her real nature and threatens her. However, I do not want any of that "be my girlfriend or I'll tell everyone" crap. There was something like that in Peach Girl, the best friend of the MC was a [insert a very bad word], however: Spoiler (mouse over to view) The heroine is so silly that ends up forgiving her DX And if I'm not mistaken, there's also something in Sukitte Ii Nayo, not that obvious or evil like in Peach Girl, but still has grim intentions.

I only watched the first episode of the anime and it had a cliché feel all over it... Is it the MC who's hiding her true nature or another character? Keime: Yeah, I've read it. The guy indeed pretty much fills the characteristics I'm looking for. Blique: I've read Warau Kanoko-sama and its sequel. Really liked them. StephKuran: You're right about the readers noticing eventually, but with excellent timing it could make an interesting twist. Peach girl has been on my want-to-read list for a long time but I never got around to reading it. Definitely will this time. Also, may I ask who you're referring to when you say that Sukitte Ii Nayo has such a character? I've read it but can't seem to know who you're talking about. Something was said by her in Ch19, Pg30, about how Mei can appeal to people being plain; according to the translation: "But despite all of that, why weren't we chosen? Then this Tachibana Mei, who doesn't do anything, and is extremely plain looking, was chosen... Yamato-kun is 'different'? Girls who look pretty and are fashionable are better". Since she's in the friends group, I guess that's a hint of her envious-dissatisfied self, and a signal of another Yamato's fan coming. NOTE. It's been such a long time since I read the manga, and the scanlations aren't periodic, there's a possibility my mind is messed up.

You make it sound like Kawai is a bad person. Rather, it's that she brings out the worst in others, because in comparision she is much lovelier. Au contraire, I like how straight-forward she is, but everything you said us right. Yuukii_Cross: I've read it and she hides the fact that she's undignified more than anything.
