Hello! I've read and reread all of Mishima Kazuhiko's works that have been scanlated, and I really want more. TT.TT She's known for works like Lover's Doll, Miwaku no Ringo, and Isso Mou, Kudokitai!

I'm looking for yaoi that's similar to her works -

A "happy" story - the plot is not too serious/realistic or hard to follow.
Heartfelt emotions - the characters really care about each other's well-being.
Art that's easy to "read" - not too realistic or detailed, conveys emotion well.
Very sweet romance without necessarily being cutesy or sexy or whatnot.

No pointless smut and no realism unless it really satisfies the above requirements. Please no bara or really manly men...orz

Examples of manga that fit:

Love Stage!! - perfect.
Rutta to Kodama - so sweet, wish it had more drama though.
Star-like Words - ahh, so sweet and cute.
Bukiyou na Silent - wish for more drama, but otherwise really cute.

Thank you!

I've checked your reading list and it sure is long, so I can't guarantee you've read these or not. I'll give it a shot, though, since my preferred yaoi is similar smile
Honto Yajuu My #1 favourite biggrin
Sentimental Garden Lover
All of Yamamoto Kotetsuko's work.
Kokoro Logic
La Satanica
Seven Days
Bara to Yaban
Kimi Note
Paradise Baby
Actually, although her work can be a tad smutty, Ootsuki Miu's work is so cute!
Miwaku no Ringo
Haha sorry if my list is a bit short. I wrote down all the manga I liked on paper and I'm no good at remembering plots of titles off the bat, so I just picked at random.
I hope it helps ^^

Oh goodness, happy manga hmm... It's a little tough for me, because I'm the sort that's really into creepy, totally whacked psychological sort. Yes, I've a bad thing for sadistic, cruel semes. The more screwed up their personalities, the better, I always say. But if you like happy then you should try this one:

Sono koi ni wa wake Ga Aru. It's really cute and fluffy. Adorable uke, and an... interesting, albeit stoic seme, with a school setting.

I'm pretty sure anything by Mikage Tsubaki goes, because she's ideal for fluff. I like Dekichatta Danshi, and Junketsu Ningyo especially. The first one's really adorable with childhood friends taking care of a baby, the second's about a super innocent merman and a businessman. Word of caution, some may not be able to appreciate Mikage Tsubaki's art, but personally,I find her art amusing and adorable.

And I adore Warui Koto Shitai by Sakuraga Mei, in fact the entire series would probably be all right, the characters are so lovable, and while their semes may be possessive, but the protectiveness is so overwhelmingly sweet. Also a school setting, and Towa is so very clueless, I just love him to bits. (Slightly sadistic semes for this series)

Oh, and Katekyo! is a pretty sweet read, if you've not gotten to it. Although I'm pretty sure you have, it's rather famous after all.

Another really crazy adorable manga's Perfect XXX. The seme is super straightforward in his affections, and really simple minded, and the uke's really earnest too. Their relationship is really, really pure and simple for this one.

And I'll just leave it here, because we're starting to see a trend that I love naive, clueless ukes who get easily pushed around... Oh well, I hope this helps!

Not exactly like, but they are for the most part on the lighter, humorous side. I hope some of these are new to you:

NATSUME Isaku
NEKOTA Yonezou
YAMATO Nase
CJ Michalski
HIDAKA Shoko
