Does that mean a girl masquerading as a guy, as in the people around her thinking she's a guy, or she's just donning masculine clothing? I'll take the former. Wandering son, Yoshino likes to dress as a boy and is mistaken for one often. The Rose of Versailles, Oscar is the heroine who stands in for the male heir her father never had.

Not in your list have been Love Sick and Ookamitachi no Tengoku (Ch. 2: "Handsome Girl is Yours!"), which have for me been worth their while. Also, the oneshot Kuroneko Guardian may be a match - Just like Houou Gakuen Misoragumi and Boku ni Natta Watashi, if you don't mind the main character to be somewhat weaker than their counterpart. ^^"

Savage Garden although I've never read it so I can't tell you whether the girl is strong or not.
Scarlet Palace
Usotsuki Lily ...this...sort of fits. I mean, everyone knows she's a girl when she cross-dresses, but still...it's cross dressing.
Charisma Doll

Hope some of these are new ^^

Have you tried 1/2 Prince (Novel)? I like it more than the manga.

Knight Princess - been a while since I read it, but I remember it was good. I think she's a good fighter.

Migawari Hakushaku no Bouken - nice read. I think she's a little strong, though she's not the fighting type.

Penguin Revolution - refreshingly unique and pleasant to read!

Romeo x Juliet - the manga is a shorter version of the anime, which it's based off of, so I recommend the anime more (it's great!). She's good with a sword.

thank you guys!
i have looked into a couple of these and they were really good biggrin
however, most of them seemed to be pretty short and i finished them in about an hour (im a really fast reader)
if anyone could suggest any that are longer than that i would be overjoyed eyes

Shinobi yoru Koi wa Kusemono could also be of interest for you - and it's still ongoing.

Warn: Banned

Beside "1/2 Prince", the only other manga that I read that has this aspect is "Koudelka" and "Wagaya no Oinarisama". In "Koudelka", one of the main characters is revealed to be a girl about half way through. In "Wagaya no Oinarisama", the fox deity switches between being a girl and a boy on a regular basis and not really stating which gender it is. The problem with these series is that one is ended and the other is currently dropped. Hope this helps.

This is a bit of a spoiler so I'll put one of those hidden unless clicked things:

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Gunka no Balzer is revealed to have one of the characters to be a female masquerading as a very convincing male soldier.

It is still an ongoing series and hopefully it will continue for a long time yet.

Looking through my complete list, I found a lot that had been mentioned, but here's some I think weren't mentioned.
Global Garden
Samurai High School
Tomodachi Kara Yoroshiku Desu

I hope those are okay.

both of these are kind of ambiguous, as the relevant characters are girls but are technically genderless in the beginning, though they look like boys

Moon Child
They Were Eleven
