Thank you. I remember, a while back, there being debates on here about if obito=tobi.
It's been a while, but I feel validated now.
I'm guessing it's more like something has obito's body possessed/something similar. I feel like he was way to happy when he died to be super-vengeful guy.

I figured it had to Obito as soon as Madara step out of the casket. If Madara could be reconstructed with parts of the 1st Hokage's body, then so could anyone else. How? Well, we will see in the near future.

This chapter have a plot hole... this shows as if kakashi knew gay... when they were like 8 years old... I believe kakashi met gay way older after the ninja school. Meaning they werent class mates.
Tobi being obito... was kind of expected yet unexpected... most didnt want to believe he was gonna do it lol, im one of those.
To the guy asking about mizukage... Tobi wasn't the mizukage, he was controling him with his sharingan.

I think you mean Guy 
Tobi being Obito is so dumb. They made it the most obvious person it could possibly be (the only person who has lost their left eye). Kishi ruined the series for me. It should have been somebody, ANYBODY, else (like Kagami Uchiha). I'd be happier if Tobi was Naruto. Such a lack of creativity blows my mind. I don't think I'll be reading this manga anymore. Just ridiculous and sad.

Well, I was wrong, in the other hand. Nice chapter, it seems Obito is another "Naruto", the girl he likes is into his rival, his rival is stronger and cooler, wanted to be Hokage... I wonder how he got that strong so fast, he attacked konoha and was able to control the kyubi. He even grew faster, in size, than Kakashi, you can tell in chapter 503, he was still a teenager while Obito could not be defeated by his sensei in the peak of his powers. Why did he plot to kill his own clan doesn't make sense either. Or how he got his hands on the rinnegan. Or how he awakened mangekyou sharingan, or why he is not blind. I could go on, but let's hope everything makes sense in the end.
BTW, is funny how people that were wrong about this say this shows lack of skill from the mangaka. Serously, grow up.

Chances are that he isn't exactly Obito, but someone using his body. Tobi was someone old enough for Madara to recognize as a fake. So it's possible that this is someone else.

I do hope that Kishimoto will provide us with some reasonable and believable explainations and not some usual craps about being a tragic man who lost everything because of war (like Pain) or that he hates Kakashi now as he stole everything or some other bullshits. The later ones wont really make sense seeing how obito cared for kakashi.
I am also hoping for a geniune explaination on Obito's power-ups.

As for everyone else who seem to think that this turn of events was extremely predictable, etc. It was not at all extremely predictable. If it weren't for all those speculation topics years ago, most of us, me included, might never have even guessed. In fact way back when the Tobi/Obito theory was proposed most people thought it wasn't true, and the theory was accepted as false after Tobi said he was Madara. That was so long ago that to a person who wasn't aware of the Tobi/Obito theory, they would've completely forgotten about Obito by now. The only sticking point of that theory was the eye placement and similar name. It was definitely not too much considering this is shonen afterall.

Im gonna bet there will be a long chapter ARC just for Obito
It's prob not Obito from the very start and just changed by the author.
One, we don't know much about Obito and his relationship with his team and 4th.
Two, Madara was an obvious choice but the whole uchiha thing was already revealed and there will be nothing new.
Three, with the ever so close ending, yeh that would take a while. Kishi will find ways to extend the series just like Bleach ;d

It doesn't surprise me that Obito is the villain. After all he is an UCHIHA. No matter how similar his past with Naruto, eventually he will be the bad guy at the end because of the curse of hatred in Uchiha blood. They either die a hero or live long enough to see themselves become a villain.
