It's official... Tobi seems to be Obito.

Question is why?

The chapter was so sad.no He parallels Naruto so much with his failures. Especially Naruto's love for Sakura and the whole triangle thing.

From the looks of the chapter, it seems like he hates Kakashi since they were a team since he's been better than him in everything and so it looks like he seems like an outcast from the beginning. He likes Rin, but she doesn't see him that way could have been another reason.

Atleast the last 2 pages shows the reason why he looked old, was because of the side that was crushed by the rock. I'm just wondering how he got so strong so quickly to be on par with the 4th Hokage when Naruto was born.

I don't believe the Tobi thought fought Minato during the Kyuubi situation was Obito's body at the time. But we shall see.

You might not believe this but i have always have this theory that Tobi is Obito around the first time Tobi was introduced, that was around more than 5 years ago... That why i'm not that really shocked to know that Tobi is Obito...

interesting, so tobi appears to be an idealism (along with that space dimensional skills) inside uchiha, carried by 1 person, and can be passed somehow.

A little confused over the reveal. Didn't Kisame refer to him as Lord Mizukage a long time ago? How would Obito survive his death, get strong enough to control Kurama, attack Konoha and hold his own against Minato, then, become Mizukage? It doesn't seem like there is enough time for all that to happen.

Waiting for the explanation, Kishimoto!!!!

Speak for yourself.

The only reservation I had against the concept was that the elder ninja held Kakshi and his peers back when the demon fox attacked - because they were too young. I sumrised that this meant that they were too weak and that Tobi in extension was too strong to be the same age (after taking on the 4th and all). However, in hindsight, it is apparent that they were being held back from fighting the fox because they were too young to die needlessly (or without children), not that they were too weak.

And though it was predictable, there wasn't really any other satisfying option. All the other known Uchiha are accounted for, and pulling out a character that no-one has heard of would be unsatisfying as hell. It's like watching/reading a whodunnit and finding out that you had never come across the killer before he's revealed.

Tobi lost an arm fighting Konan. It's probably not his and probably most of that body.

We don't know how Kakashi activated his mangekyou, so its likely Obito maybe activated his that same time when the cave was collapsed by those reinforcements because we know Itachi was just telling bs to Sasuke cuz Shisui and Kakashi did it. Anyway Obito's sharingan helped his against the 4th, with that power he doesn't have to be super skilled to be a difficult opponent but that's why he got his ass beat, he used chains to trap people as he runs through them...compared to now he was inexperienced and that's why he failed. Kurenai's dad was calling her a woman and Kakashi looked like Sharingan Kakashi so Obito had plenty of time to train his sharingan to the extent of attacking the village when it was an opportunity that doesn't come along everyday.

Dude, go install a sarcasm-o-meter. You really need one

Ok guys, since most of you are confused about how obito got so strong to be able to fight the fourth, let me put this theory.

The one who fought the fourth was another tobi, probably another uchiha who saved obito from being crushed. Obito then inherited his techniques and became our current tobi.
