Indeed, so very disappointing, only thing worth mentioning is that we got the name of the dude.

Problem is, the thing with Kenpachi could only end like that. It's not like anyone (or at least, reasonably could have) expected him to be able to take on the main villain at this point of the conflict. After all, Ichigo hasn't had his seasonal power up yet.
Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment and I, for one, never expected more from that bit. Too bad Kubo didn't manage to exceed said expectation. The actually disappointing bit is the typical idiot speech about Zarakis supposed weakness. He just killed 3 of the dudes of his elite guard who were otherwise doing a pretty good job at tearing the Gotei 13 a new one. Sure, not as strong as old man genocide, but then, who is.

Thats one of the biggest reason I hate BLEACH. Every enemy whether hollow level or Aizen level sprouts nonsense about being himself as the strongest and the others being weakling.
Does anyone remember the quincy captain(the one who had transformation fetishes~~10-20 chapters drag out fight) saying that Aizen was good for nothing. Come on,if Aizen is a weakling then I really wonder about others.
Its not like I am hoping for Bleach to make sense but its really too much to handle.

You know, Bleach has lately seemed tame in this aspect due to Noblesse taking the cake so badly. I love the series, but the amouth of conceited bullshit that each new bad guy, starting with Mary and Jake, brought to the table is staggering. The latter parts of the Cerberus arch were just plain silly.
Though I must admit that part about Aizen being weak was terrible. He was second only to a very few in raw power, could do Kido like a master and had an utterly broken Shikai. The dude was so broken that Kubo didn't even bother coming up with a bankai for him and then some monster of the week-mid-boss piece of trash calls him weak... yeah.

It's great that Kenpachi lost. Honestly while it's fun to watch him, there's pretty much no tension in his fights. He never has to try and usually just ends up waltzing his way through obstacles. Him losing gives the villains a bit of credibility.
What's stupid though is how we're not even shown how he loses. So meh, standard Kubo fare. Interesting ideas, poor execution.

Even if he made Kenpachi lose, we should of at least been able to see his fight. I love his fights.

It was obvious Kenpachi was going to get messed up. I'm just hoping he gets another fight before the end because I doubt he is done (I hope).

and I'd like to see all remainig bankais and maybe Kenpachi's shikai. I know they said he sword doent have it, but maybe if he'd get lry pissed off then he could awaken it.
If old man commander is so strong, then imagine his bankai he could level mountains with it, hope it doesnt get stolen. As for now commander is way stronger than Ichigo

I doubt it will stay that way for long.

To be honest, I really like Bleach, with it's faults and all. I was even ok with Byakuya dying and all that, but I gotta admit, I was dissapointed in this chapter and not for the reasons everyone else was. I was disappointed because I really don't like the old man, and now that he's in the fight everyone seems to have "revived" and their fighting spirits seem to have lifted, so I felt cheated. If Kira and Byakuya did die for real, it seems cheap if all the others seem to have gotten their fighting spirit back just by feeling the old man's reiatsu.
So I really hope the old man dies.....and that there continues to be more casualties in Bleach or else I would feel really cheated.

I'm sure it could take out more than a mountain given the display of powers so far.
I think it has always been a given that the Commander was stronger than Ichigo, maybe the only one in soul society at this point.
