Hey everyone,I've been kinda obsessed (in a good way) with romance mangas lately.
It needs to be at least 7-8 volumes long,the male character can't be the standard shojo's bishonen good at everything and preferably,it can't stop as soon as they get together or creating infinite side stories,nothing too dramatic but hardship is good,some comedy is always appriciated,don't really care about ecchi or sex scenes but they are good if they are used properly.
I know it can seem a lot of requisites but I researched a lot in the past few days,both in forums and by simple searches and I found a few mangas that I liked but I'm trying to find more.

Maybe Sekine-kun no Koi will also be worth a look, even if there are just 3 volumes so far (still ongoing).

EDIT:What.The.Fuck.I just finished Melo Holic,it wasn't really what I was looking for but damn this was good,started reading at 4:15 and it's 6:30 am now,how the hell am I going to sleep now ?lol
Wow really this was amazing thanks for suggesting it,my hearth was pumping like crazy in the last 10 chapters or so,just amazing.

I have a great one.. Koi Dano Ai dano. Both the female and male leads are awesome. (the pre-sequel is Warau Kanoko-sama I recommend reading the pre-sequel first, though their both short its still a great read)
Cat Street was a pretty good romance manga... though I'm not sure if its what you are looking for.
Dengeki Daisy & [m]Immoral Rain[/m] are other good ones.
P.S Most of these mangas are more to the shojo side of things..

full metal panic! read the novels and watched the anime i really liked it, never tried the manga though
Beck has romance not the main focus but its there and its a pretty good story
