I'm looking for a good seinen manga that will really make me think. Something like Ai-ren would be perfect, if any of you know something like it. I just loved everything about it, including the two people fated to die, and appreciating life while knowing so. The conflict because of their demise was also amazing to read. Anything like Ai-ren would be perfect. I don't mind action too much, but please, I really hate senseless violence like in some manga. Other manga I really liked included Bokurano, Saikano, Eden: It's an endless world, Sundome, Liar Game, all forms of Kaiji, Sahara Mizu, and others. I'm a HUGE fan of all Inio Asano's work, especially Nijigahara Holographs and Oyasumi Punpun. I might read Narutaru soon, but not so sure. I also like psychological manga. Planetes was AMAZING, it really inspired me, so anything like that would also be great. If anyone knows any other good manga that takes place in space, like Saturn Apartments, that would be amazing. Sorry for the long passage, and thanks!

I didn't see any URASAWA Naoki on your list? He's a must for any manga fan, and especially since you're asking for seinen that will make you think.

A Seinen, that will make you think? Let's see, maybe ...
* Butter!!! - It's ongoing, but so far I really liked the characters and the developmental pace of the story. There are moments, when there seems to be energy in the air and then again you have others, which will make you think and take a breath. So, for me it's worth a look. ^^
* Gangsta. - This is one of my current favorites. It's atmosphere is kind of different, since it's rather dark and more or less enlightened by the main characters and their way of dealing with those kind of surroundings - and with their own past. Also, the style of art will probably make you smile, even if there are some action scenes included.
* Death Edge - If you don't mind a bit of action and supernatural elements, then you could take a look at this Manga. As far as I can say, it's well-balanced in my eyes.
* Beck - A Shounen, with the feel of a Seinen. If you haven't tried this yet, I can absolutely recommend it. The storyline (focusing mainly on friendship) is quite catchy and the development of the characters is well-handeled.
* Tokyo Toy Box - It's been a while, but as far as I can remember, TTB has been a nice read.

"Why does it rain?" - "To create drama." (Drops (Andou Yuki))
