Hey good people, will you help me discover good manga that the set is Yoshiwara or Kabukichou?
The only ones I've read and can remember is Mede Shireru Yoru no Junjou and Gintama (that are totally opposites, btw) and I really like the Japan from that era.
So I don't care if it's yaoi, shoujo, shounen, seinen, josei, comedy, drama or whatever genre, I'd only like the story to be from around the Edo period.
Thank you already ^-^

Jin: he treated a sick oiran from Yoshiwara, although the Yoshiwara part is not the main story. Sakuran Sonezaki Shinjuu Oedo wa Nemuranai!:a bit 'eh' IMO, it has an interesting premise, but written poorly. But maybe you'll like it. I think you better read this when you're bored/ has nothing to do. Mademoiselle Butterfly Hira Hira Mugen Utamaro: adaptation of Oscar Wilde's Dorian Gray, set in Yoshiwara. Worth a read.
Also, there's Edo Period categories: http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?category=Edo+Period& orderby=rating

Oh, thank you! Just what I was looking for. All added to my wish list About Mugen Utamaro, even though the old school art not really attracts me, I'll give it a try.
