They have released official volumes in colour, not all but some volumes are avaliable in a full colour version.

The First 4 volumes are available in full color. There is also an omnibus that has all 4 volumes in one book.

Yes they are, and The Omnibus is not expensive. the 4 volume full color omnibus is at 33$ at amazon. At launch it was about 50$/60$

I got the Omnibus version from Amazon as well. It's way bigger than your standard manga as well. Without any actual dimensions, I'd say 40-50% more surface area per page?
The cover has some funky special coating so the blood splashes feel.. different.

Well, comparing it right here on my lap to the scans on my screen, I'm rather secure in saying it's the former. Some difference in color depth and whatnot when comparing to the scans, but generally it is the same as the color pages from the otherwise black-and-white publications.
There is also a rather nice number of full color artwork in between the actual chapters and such. Even the cover has a nice and naughty backside if you want to flip it or use it as a poster.
Also, now that I bothered to compare the size to my Negima volumes, I'd say the page size is straight out double when compared to normal.
