Like the first few pages should have been in the last chapter, and or condense into 2-3 pages seriously. The artsy of it is fine, but at least give us a few more pages than just 17 pages if you are going to do one panel per page.

As I approaching the end of the chapter, I feel all those tension build up for nothing (if it turned out that Ichigo lost already but he didn't). But yeah, so Quincy techniques can be learn.

My guess is Ichigo is half Quincy and half Shinigami!

it kinda makes sense when you think about it.. His father stopped Aizen from telling ichigo what he was.. so Ichigo thought it was half human.. b

when i saw those last couple of pages, i was like : of course he's half-quincey now. why not? let's supe him up even more and make his dna even more what the crap than it already is. he's part human, shinigami, hollow, vizard, fullbrings, and now let's make him quincey. i just wanna know what's up with ichigo being the most overpowered guy in manga lately. honestly, he should be able to pwn anyone with just a wave of his hand...

he is a Human, shinigami, hollow, quincy Hybrid bigrazz

or maybe Ishida came to Hueco Mundo and helped them, ha had a change of heart, he freed Ichigo and gave him this Blood Armor

Am I the only one that is expecting unohana to use her bankai and resurrect everyone when this fight is over?

Also this whole half shinigami/quincy thing isn't so far fetched since so little is known about his parents but really what is he going to be able to do next. Every arc that comes along he is able to do the things the bad guys can. Fights hollows, can use hollow powers. Fights full bringers, can use full bring powers. Fights Quincies, can use quincy powers. Is he going to fight the soul king at some point and be able to use soul king powers?

My prediction is that he is, indeed, Soul Society king that was adbucted when he was a child and was reborn as a human. Try to beat me on that Tite Kubo xD

I think Orihime is better suited for that job.

I still say it's because of who his mother was. And evidence is pointing more and more to her having been a quincy. Which might actualy make her maiden name "Ishida Masaki," but not necessarily.

Although, it could also be a misdirect. There are two other plausible possibilities. 1: Ishida showed up in Hueco Mundo and put it on him. Ishida also knows how to remove that jail thing, since his dad did it when they were restoring his power. Or, perhaps even more likely, 2: Urahara figured it all out and put it on him. Remember Mayuri figured out Garganta in a matter of about 30 minutes, and Mayuri < Urahara.

PS: On the restoring subject, I was always under the assumption that everything would be destroyed and Inoue would restore it with a giant barrier. I thought Aizen would win and create the King's Key (actually, I thought Aizen would lose until the Vaizards sided with him... but that was just a pipe dream), but maybe it's this.

Hm..
Just want to point a few things out, although what's said here could probably be true considering who's writing this manga.... *Cough cough*

Any who, few things I want to point out if you ignore a lot of the crap that came up later on and just follow what's said the first time..

Technically Shinigami are just spirits with spiritual power and got to the point where they have been able to get a zanpaktou (don't even need the first level of it achieved, I can't recall what it's called and cba to look it up).

Secondly Quincy were originally just people who could sense hollows (so also had strong spiritual power) and trained themselves to be able to use techniques to fight against them because they didn't want to lose their loved ones (if you recall, Hollows tend to go towards beings with stronger spiritual power)..

Third, fullbringer powers (god I can't believe I bothered to read that arc.. =_=) are just humans who obtained powers that don't fit into either category but it seems their powers were also related o their abilities to sense and use spiritual power..

Therefore Ichigo's genes only matter up to the point of whether or not he inherited a strong spiritual power and ability to sense it.. Everything else pi[technically[/i] comes from training.. Being a shinigami by training as a spirit, fullbringer (is that what they were called?) by training as a human with an item of strong attachment which contained some of his power, and if a quincy then training as a human again but with other items or with the body.

And now,if you'll excuse me, I shall go feel pitiful for remembering all this.. ._.'

I agree, she manipulates time without penalty, so she can reverse the state of death too. I think she did actually too, that Arrancar girl gaurding her was killed by Grimmjaw, but Orihime revived her.

As for the Quincy thing, how come we've never seen signs of this before? If his mom was a Quincy why would she not notice Grand Fisher, or better yet kill him before he harmed her son? Kubo's inconsistencies reign again.

@ AceBunneh, it's funny but that made more sense to me than the chapter. But if it's based off of training how and who gave him the basics of the Quincy training to pull that off? That's a relatively short amount of time to discover the ins and outs of being a Quincy.

Its all right, most of us feel the same way -_-. i feel like every time Ichigo isnt on screen is the moment hes getting stronger....lets recap shall we, his training with bankai, we saw him do this and that stuff but never the moment he achieves it, he even gets shunpo, vs Aizen again we didnt see him achieve his final form thingie, yet he roflstomped Aizen without using dat mugetsu thingie and now this. Its like Kubo doesnt want people to know or see what happens so he can pull stuff out of his ass.

Yes, sadly I have the time to apply logic to illogical things right now. =x

I also wonder where he find the time to learn about being a Quincy or any Quincy techniques, but I think I can find a spot for that too..
We all know Ichigo has an absurd learning rate (we've seen it in each arc where he gets new powers, although as Kaitentsuki pointed out we never actually see him learning much o finish learning anything...), and there were minor time skips here and there..
Although he had lost all his powers after dealing with Aizen there was a period where he was all mopey doing nothing apparently.. Maybe he learned about being a Quincy then when he was hoping to be able to do something again, but as he had no powers he couldn't actually use them.
Or maybe he just pull a [insert generic fighting/action hero here] and learned while fighting his opponent how to use his opponent's techniques..

Mostly this chapter left me wondering...
What happened to the wall Kuchiki (is that his name? I can never remember names.. u.u'') was 'nailed' to? o.o; Is it just a perspective thing or did it really disappear or did he just pull himself off from it?

I'm wondering why they lose blood when they're in spiritual bodies.. xD Shouldn't they be losing glittery sparkly dots that float away?

Yeah, for someone saying that he's dying he's doing an awful lot. By the time he actually does keel over he's most likely going to get healed.
