Hi, uh, this is probably a really stupid question, but what does Hiatus up to mid-november mean? And, just in general, what does Hiatus mean.

"On Hold" due to disruptions.

Reasons may include;

lack of creativity (writer's block)
Family problems
Personal problems - Illness etc

It could be anything that is causing disruption to the work, thus the progress of the work is placed on hold.
