Obsessive, possessive male lead

Sogno Member 4:53 am, Nov 3 2012 Posts: 22	Hi, I'm looking for a manga in which the male lead is a crazy psychotic character who has major obsessive and possessive issues toward a girl, not necessarily because he loves her, but because he just has issues. Or he could just have obsessive issues for whatever. I've looked in the tags for obsessive/possessive but a lot of it is yaoi, which I don't read. I'd also like for the girl to not be stupid or wimpy; a strong girl who can handle herself. She can be oblivious to the guy's attentions; her focus could be on something like family, work, or school. And if possible with this sort of manga, I'd like something with comedy. ^^ Shounen, shoujo, seinen, and josei are all fine. No yaoi/yuri, hentai, etc. A little smut is okay, but not too much. I'm not picky about art style. ... I know that's pretty specific, but I hope there's some out there that fit this description. Thanks in advance!

I know quite a few : Flowers of Evil- manhwa, but incest, and the best! second Watashi no Megane-kun (seriously, it's the most obsessive one) Metronome (LEE Won-Jin)- webtoon, really good. Stepping on Roses (the 2nd guy though) The following three are obsessive love, but with a "normal" shoujo heroine: Oujitachi wa Izonsuru (incest too XD) and read her other works, they're pretty weird... Member 2:08 pm, Nov 3 2012 Posts: 226	you have to go to advanced search in genre and tick the red box for yaoi to exclude it. tick the yuri, shojo ai, shounen ai, hentai red boxes for good measure. then you put obsessive or possessive lover in the categories box. then, try completely scantalated if you dont want to wait for new releases. this method does not give you very specific stuff, but if you finish everything people give you, this will help. Boku no Chikyuu o Mamotte - love that transcend space and time! Hot Gimmick - the girl is extremely wimpy, but im just throwing it here. Yoru Made Matenai - another weak girl, but i really like the guy! A Fairytale for the Demon Lord - quite dark and crazy. Last edited by whitespade at 2:18 pm, Nov 3

Skip Beat is great, was the second shoujo manga I ever read, probably one of the best, along with that mangaka's other works. Hot Gimmick, also one of the first ones I read... very stupid girl, which was annoying, but definitely a very possessive guy. Some of these don't come up in searches, and I never know if the main girl will be wimpy, so that's why I asked in a thread. ^^ I also really like Hot Blooded Woman so far. Thanks for your suggestions!

Here are some of my favorites: Hakuji- I haven't read this in a long, long time but it's a story about moving on and two broken people. The main protagonist is a painter and he feels a possessive love toward this student. Flowers of Evil- love, love, LOVE this manhwa! It's one of my all time favorites. It's my kind of story—dark, twisted, tragic—anyway, it's about twins, one brother and one sister. The sister is very possessive about her brother and though it might not seem as so, the brother is, too. Amazing plot development. The last one, it is very mature. It involves content that can be very inappropriate, but the reason why I'm recommending it is because of this one story in this collection of oneshots in which obsessive love is so twisted and strange... Fetish. The story I'm talking about is the one about the blind lady who, through surgery, is able to see again. What she sees, however, is very strange. ________________ I am vindicated!
