what is the most shocking and unexpected plot twist you've ever read in a manga?

I think in general Liar Game or Anne Freaks shocked me quite a bit, but then again, given the situation and the personalities of the characters presented, i guess it wasn't all that unusual.

Tower of God had a pretty big shocking scene
and Yureka had quite a few huge plot twists

Pandora Hearts often shocks me... One of the most shocking scenes is page 43, chapter 59. Seriously, that scene has been engraved in my soul for all eternity. Oh, and page 51, chapter 65. That scene triggered a huge racconto that explained so much of the storyline. This is obvious, but don't check these scenes unless you have already read the manga, or you'll be up to some serious spoilers!

Oh, god, Pandora Hearts thoroughly rapes the mind. With what happened to Eliott and Oz's true identity and ffff.

The ending of Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei. Masterpiece, but holy flying toaster.

When Mami got her head chomped off. After all the "yayz we're gonna be fine" and "lol hope". Oh, and finding out what Witches really were.

Finding out the truth in Mirai Nikki. And Akise's death... /sob

I don't know if you meant the shocking scene from shounen manga or anything but for me it's from this horror manga named "HIKI" http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=29161 by NANGOKU Banana. Made me scared of my own wardrobe.

I don't know, is it because I read it when I was all alone at home at 3 a.m, but there were some unexpected scene + scary facial expressions that made me sleepless that night.

I used to read mangas by Junji Ito and never had after effect like that.


Another one, try google [ENG ver.] Bongcheon-Dong Ghost. Scared the shit out of me the first time I read it.
