Don't Cry Baby - not exactly what you asked for, but if I read it right I'm pretty sure he tried to have a relationship with a good friend that went really wrong.
I think _silent_ is right about Arashi no Ato, but I kept getting them mixed up in the story myself - was surprised when the straight guy was the uke.
