if you can stomach rape and group sex, I'd say Saint Foire Festivals series by Toko-ya (it's doujinshi)
set in medieval Europe, each series contains different heroines, who were raped (some just got sex) on Saint Foire's Days, the Day in where if a couple kisses, they would get eternal happiness.
It's not just usual rape story, but there's a backstory for each heroines, which make them more tragic.
don't worry, no NTR, only a little mindbreak, but a very tearjerking one.
Spoiler (mouse over to view) it's the 3rd heroine and it made me cried in the end of series 5 Spoiler (mouse over to view) she got better though, but in a spin-off series
the heroines themselves are not related with each other (except 2)but there're continuous minor character showing up in each series, making each series related.
