 i dont really have a best friend so this might be inaccurate when i hypothesize that if i had a best friend, i wouldnt even let her near my face before she even tries. im very touchy about friends hugging each other and such.

Wouldn't really care, would probably kiss back if the kisser was good looking (shallow I know). If not I'd dismiss it.

If it was my best girl friend I'd be sorta shocked but probably ok. It would be awkward if it was a French or deep kiss though.
 it'd be shrugged off though.

The OP did say the same sex, so I'm obviously going to be freaked out, because my friends aren't the type to kiss for no reason, they aren't that type of touching cuddling people. I'll either laugh it out (which is what I normally do in awkward situations) or just reply "Dude, WHAT THE FUCK!"
If it was the different gender however it would be a different story, my friends who are girls are generally lovey dovey, and don't mind hugging (One of them enjoys being molested...?). They normally hug me anyway since they say I'm like a bear (cute and cuddly), so I'll be less surprised since I know they are more open to that kind of thing.

Push her away gently, go to the bathroom to compose. Then I'd pretend it never happened. But make it more obvious that i am Hetro. 100%. I'd carry on the same as always, unless she brought it up, and then i'd tell her to be quiet, and tell her Nothing happened, dead serious like as she'd get the point then. And she'd know we could go on as normal. And i'd never mention it again.  XX

since my best friends is rather ugly lol and he have a rotten selfobsessed personality i would most likely get angry or just leave
i guess me not being gay does not help the situation either
