apathetic main character

Thinks that whatever happens, just happens, and that's that. rather accepting of any situation and is completely unfazed by whatever circumstances. the person isn't motivated and doesn't have a goal in life. he/she is just it. for example, something like Ciel

He simply accepts everything as they happen since he considered himself Spoiler (mouse over to view) unwanted by his father. Despite that, he still deeply cares for others, but in the end, ends up with a self-sacrificing complex. I wonder if en passant would also count? The main character literally shows no motivation to do anything and doesn't mind when someone tells him to jump out of the window. (He's the king of pessimists, after all...) Of course, all of that changes once more people start sticking their noses into his life and he can't escape from the "destiny" that gave him that eye-patch.
