Well, I found that oddly a satisfying way for Neji to die. Poor guy.

Why is it that everyone is dying so fast? it should have been spread out through the whole war instead of having people die one after another near the end of it

If I had to think of a reason [other than, becuase Kishi decided so], nothing else they fought was as an effiecent a killer than this thing and everything else has been at a least where it could easily be defended against without too much danger.

I think the pace has slowed again . More things were happening in one chapter previously, but now it's a lot slower.

His death wasnt satisfying compared to the abilities he showed...... Well, I guess it cant be helped, when every major character becomes Super Saiyan and the side characters remains at the level of Yamcha.

Well put, I for one couldn't care less if he was there or not, and as soon as you saw Naruto in danger and Hinata jumping, you knew what was coming -_-

I don't like this at all. Neji was one of the few characters I still liked and he now he dies in a stupid way.
If Sasuke survives all this and is forgiven in the end, I will burn all my Naruto manga.

Well i liked him as well but his overall usage in the manga is really terrible, seeing as hes more used in anime filler.

Aren't there a lot of rinnegan's floating around now? Don't worry we'll see neji, the strategy team and those random ninjas in the background again real soon.
There's something that's bothering me. Where did all these vast rocky lands come from? Every time there is a Bijuu fight conveniently there seems to be a huge empty available terrain for them to fight on. Where are all the normal human settlements? How come a whole ninja army crossed all of this land on such a short amount of time? 
Also, what's happening with the rest of the ninja world? Are the other villages just enjoying the show?

well obito is right, naruto is all mouth. lame way to take out neji but it was the only one that suited him, dying to protect both naruto and hinata, but its still a bit random and very crappy for such an uber character.

Neji was so strong, yet he gets so little facetime in the manga, then he dies outta nowhere. I understand when a character dies after getting a lot of appearances in the manga, say Sakura, but to take a likable but unused character and have him die sucks.
Anyway, I liked when Obito was like "You said you wouldnt let ur friends die, Naruto." NIce way to run salt in the wound

To me Kishi managed to kill Neji the right way. He was fated to die saving Naruto's since long way ago, and he had way too much respect over his clan to let Hinata's die. It was cool of him to make that last remark about how much Hinata's love him ( she already showed it with pain tho lol)
